Muslim festivals generally celebrate the events of the life of Islam's main prophet, Muhammad, especially the events surrounding the first hearing of the Kuran. Gregorian calendar does not influence Muslim festivals. They are based on the Hegira, which follows pure lunar reckoning. As such these Muslim festivals do not have months corresponding to seasons.
